Council meetings

The Council normally meets at 7.00 pm on the second Wednesday of the month, excluding August, at Cefn Cribwr Community Centre (The Green Hall) and members of the public are warmly encouraged to attend.

Footpath from Dale View to John Street

The footpath which runs between 28 and 29 Dale View to John Street has recently been blocked by the landowner. Enquiries have shown that the path had not been registered as a public footpath by the developer who built Dale View in the late 1970’s.

The Community Council believe this well used footpath is an essential route for residents which must be preserved and have made an application for a Definitive Map Modification Order under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to Bridgend County Borough Council. As part of this process the Community Council have served a notice on the landowner that this application has been made.

If the order is going to proceed members of the public who have used the path will need to complete a ‘User Evidence Form’ and return it to Bridgend County Borough Council. These forms are simple to complete and can be downloaded from here:
